لاہور: پی ایس ایل اسپاٹ فکسنگ کیس میں سزا پانے والے اوپنر نے پی سی بی کو خط میں اپنے جرم کا اعتراف کرلیا ہے۔

پی ایس ایل 2 کے آغاز پر سامنے آنے والے اسکینڈل میں شرجیل خان، خالد لطیف، شاہ زیب حسن اور محمد عرفان کے نام سامنے آئے تھے، پی سی بی اینٹی کرپشن ٹربیونل نے الزامات ثابت ہونے پر ان کو سزائیں سنائیں، کرکٹرز کی اپیلیں بھی مسترد ہوئیں، شرجیل خان پر ڈھائی سال معطلی سمیت 5 سال کی پابندی عائد کی گئی تھی۔
اوپنر نے چیئرمین پی سی بی احسان مانی سے ملاقات کی تاہم اس میں بھی وہ کوئی رعایت حاصل کرنے میں ناکام رہے تھے، اب شرجیل خان نے پی سی بی کو لکھے گئے خط میں اپنی غلطی تسلیم کرلی ہے، پابندی کی مدت ختم ہونے پر کرکٹ میں واپسی کے لیے انہیں پی سی بی کے زیر اہتمام بحالی پروگرام میں شرکت کرنا ہوگی۔
یاد رہے پاکستان کرکٹ بورڈ کے چیئرمین احسان مانی شرجیل خان کو اینٹی کرپشن ٹربیونل کے سامنے پیش کیا تھا تاکہ کوئی ایسا راستہ نکالا جائے جس سے شرجیل خان کو رعایت مل سکے
بورڈ کی جانب سے تمام قوانین کی رو سے یہی کہا گیا تھا کہ پہلے شرجیل خان اپنا جرم قبول کرے اس کے بعد ہی بورڈ کی جانب سے رعایت مل سکتی ہے تو اب شرجیل خان نے خاط میں اپنی غلطی کو تسلیم کر لیا

Kuwait u19 opened their World Cup qualification campaign with a resounding victory over tournament favorite Hong Kong



Having been asked to bowl first, an aggressive opening spell from openers Hamza Qureshi and Akhil Sajeev reduced HK to 60/5; before a pair of wickets each for spinners Hamoud Jandu and Abdul Sadiq and a further wicket for Faez Qureshi wrapped up the HK innings for 118. Govind Sunil Kumar taking three stunning catches at short cover under the helmet.
Needing to negate a potentially tricky 40-minute period prior to lunch, openers Meet Bhavsar and Gokul Sunil Kumar got things going with contrasting innings in a 60-run stand. Meet hitting three consecutive boundaries in the first hour with Gokul serenely seeing off the new ball. Both fell within 6 balls of each other bringing skipper Nomaan Budroo and Abdul Sadiq to the crease. The paid showed all their experience as the guided Kuwait to the winning target without incident with 24.4 overs to spare, sealing an emphatic victory.
Akhil Sajeev Nair was adjudged man of the match with barely believable figures of 10-4-3-12.
